Exchange with IES Lopez de Arenas Marchena (Spain)

ES López de Arenas in Marchena is a public high school in Andalusia, in the province of Seville. The school offers education at multiple levels, making it more than just a typical secondary school. The school primarily offers ESO and Bachillerato programs. In addition, it also provides vocational education, particularly in administrative fields. Students can therefore choose between a more theoretical program and a practical, vocational track.
The school has a clear international focus. Through Erasmus+, IES López de Arenas participates in exchanges and mobility programs. This involves collaboration with schools and teachers from other European countries. These projects are designed to strengthen language skills, cooperation, and cultural
exchange. They also give students and teachers the opportunity to gain new teaching and learning experiences outside of Spain.
Last year we focused on cultural differences and the waste industry of clothings.

Exchange with IES Extremadura Montijo (Spain)

IES Extremadura in Montijo is a public secondary school in the province of Badajoz, in the Spanish region of Extremadura. The school offers education at multiple levels, making it a comprehensive educational center for students from Montijo and the surrounding area. According to available information,
the curriculum includes at least ESO and Bachillerato, supplemented by vocational programs. The school appears to have a distinct focus, particularly in the administrative and technical fields.
In addition to general education, vocational training plays an important role. Students can, for example, focus on administrative studies, but also on technical programs such as electricity and automation. As a result, the school offers both a more theoretical and a practice-oriented learning path. This makes IES Extremadura attractive to students who, after elementary school, want to pursue different paths within secondary education.
The school is also active on the international stage. It has long participated in Erasmus+ mobility programs. A concrete example is an exchange with Uden in the Netherlands, in which 9th-grade students work toward one of the 18 UN Sustainable Development Goals to collectively become more aware of their environment. The program also encourages students to feel more European.
