Implementation

Here you can find the information sheets used to implement different project activities.

1. Survey on the students’ experience with cyber-bullying

It is our main goal to enable students and teachers to become aware of the mechanisms of cyberbullying happening in their environment and learn how to recognize them. That means that it is of major importance to deal with the question of how to help people recognize and also respond to the early signs of cyberbullying. One way to start this process might be a survey to give the participants the chance to come to terms with their own experiences and thougths about the topic as well as to give their opinion in an anonymous way. The results may then be used as a starting point for further engagement with the topic. The following survey may serve as an example how to find out about cyberbullying at respective schools for students and/or teachers to work on.

2. Working with the results

After conducting the survey the focus will be on analysing the results. It will be the students’ task to carry out the evaluation independently and use their findings and insights to engage with further measures in the fight against cyberbullying.

Worksheet to be uploaded.

3. Creating a campaign ad to fight cyberbullying

While the analysis and interpretation of the survey results is a very rational process, the fight against unfair treatment and harrassement at school also has to appeal to the learners in an emotional way. A creative task may help to tranfer the very theoretical findings onto a more personal level.

4. Peer teaching: Empowering students to become experts in the fight against cyberbullying

If we talk about bullying and cyberbullying in particular, a large number of students have been affected, either because they have become victims of online harrassment or maybe because they have been on the side of the bullies. So it is no surprise that students rather take advice from other students than from teachers, parents or counsellors. And thus this is the basic idea of our peer-teaching workshop against cyber-bullying!

5. Using AI in everyday-life

Let’s face it: Artificial Intelligence can be quite helpful! So we thought about using it to serve the European idea of being united in cultural differences! As a start, the students write down their favourite recipe typical of the region or country they live in. During our conference meeting the AI will be asked to create an original European fusion dish – to make this yummy you need to know your prompts!
